Vikas Rambal

Chairman of the Board

Perdaman’s Founding Chairman and Managing Director Vikas Rambal has more than 25 years’ experience in business and a proven track record in delivering world-class businesses.

Born in Delhi, India Mr Rambal qualified as a chemical engineer at the University of Nagpur, specialising in petrochemicals. In his formative years Mr Rambal’s career was started at Bharat Petroleum (formerly Shell). He was then involved in establishing a range of projects including refineries and the manufacture of fertilisers.

Mr Rambal moved to Western Australia in 2000 and since his arrival, he has used natural gas for downstream industry, including the manufacture of ammonia for the international fertiliser market. The expansion of Perdaman Group has included a range of complementary-related businesses across pharmaceuticals, shopping centres, migration and solar energy.

As Perdaman’s chairman, Mr Rambal’s fundamental vision has always been to create leaders in helping the company grow.

Vikas Rambal is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

MAEGHA RAMBAL

Director

Maegha Rambal is Director of Perdaman and has been with Perdaman since 2006.

Prior to moving to Australia in 2000, Maegha held senior positions in the comptroller and Auditor General of India, which gives Maegha extensive exposure to both the Public and private sectors.

Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mathematics in India.

Here in Australia, Maegha has continued her progression as a director of Perdaman, which has interest across various industries.

A particular success under Maegha’s’ leadership is the growth of Perdaman’s Commercial Properties and Perdaman Capital which has investments in real estate such as shopping centres and public services such as childcare facilities. Maegha has the vision to expand Perdaman’s portfolio of investments and is at the centre of developing new and exciting opportunities for the organisation.

Maegha brings to Perdaman Chemicals & Fertiliser the financial audit management and diversity in leadership of the Perdaman team.

Rob Stewart

Director

Rob Stewart is a Partner and the Managing Partner of GIP Australia, having joined the firm in 2015. He is based in Sydney.

Prior to joining GIP, Mr Stewart was the C.E.O. of Credit Suisse Australia, and from 2000 to 2013, he was the head of the Australia Investment Banking Division.

Mr Stewart began his career as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Whinney (a predecessor to Ernst and Young). Mr Stewart holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Nick Hume

Director

Nick Hume is a GIP Australia Partner, having joined GIP in 2009. Nick has been actively involved with several of GIP’s global investments, including Port of Brisbane, Terminal Investment Limited and Pacific National. He is currently based in Sydney and has worked in both the New York and London offices during his career with GIP. Nick is currently an alternate director of N.S.W. Ports and Lochard Energy.

Prior to joining GIP, Mr Hume worked in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs (both in London and Sydney), covering industrials, natural resources and healthcare. Mr Hume started his career as an M&A lawyer at Freehills in Sydney.

Mr Hume holds a B.A. (First Class Honours and University Medal) and an L.L.B. (First Class Honours Equiv.) from the University of New South Wales. Mr Hume is admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales.
